  • 1. how does WooMe work?

    WooMe is all about meeting people. We believe that talking and seeing people is a great way to get to know people meaningfully and quickly. There is no other place you can go and meet 5 people in 5 minutes.

  • 2. can I WOO even if I don't have a webcam?

    You bet! We totally understand that not everyone has a webcam. So that's why we give people the option to create ‘voice only' sessions in additional to voice and video ones. Just look out for the voice only icon in the session name – this tells you a session is audio only.

  • 3. is WooMe safe?

    WooMe is very safe. We have included a number of safety features to ensure you have a fun and safe experience. Other users will never see any personal information that you don't want to share. WooMe will never divulge this information. You also have the choice of blocking any users you feel are behaving inappropriately. We have also implemented a very comprehensive reporting system where you can report inappropriate behaviour directly to us. We take these reports very seriously.

    We also recommend that you use common sense when meeting people on WooMe and not to give out personal information to anyone you do not feel comfortable with. Remember, you can end a date immediately with a single click and you will never date that person again.

  • 4. how do I report abuse?

    If a user behaves in a way that you think is inappropriate – or if they have inappropriate content or comments on their profiles, you can report them by clicking on the ‘report' links that are on each page and present during sessions.

    If you click this during a session, your session with that person will stop and you will have the option of blocking all future contact with that person. On our side we will also follow up with the person concerned to ensure they don't continue any inappropriate behaviour on the site. Depending on the severity of the situation that person may be banned entirely from WOOing in the future.

  • 5.how much does WooMe cost?

    WooMe is completely FREE to play. You can have as much fun and meet as many people as you want without paying a thing.

    When you find someone who really WOOs you and they are WOO'd by you, you can instantly exchange contact information in a secure way for £1, $1 or 1 euro – the price of an iTunes song.

  • 6. okay, we had a session, we were both WOO'd, now what?

    Now it's up to you! This is the great part about WooMe – we provide a way for you to meet tons of new people in a fun, efficient way. Once you have each other's contact information its up to you to propose the next steps. WooMe has broken the ice, now it's your chance to get to know each other better.   • 7. why 1 minute?

    1 minute is about the minimum time you need to decide whether you've chemistry with someone. But we're nice people so we'll also let you also make it 2 or 3 minutes … you create a session and you chose how long you want it to be!
